John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge At Tinicum

I really enjoyed visiting this park. It’s the largest remaining freshwater tidal wetland in Pennsylvania. When I found out what was once 5,700 acres is now around 1,000 acres I nearly cried! Birdwatching

This summer, I saw a great egret up close while we were in Cape May.  I was able to capture the most amazing picture…. This is a red headed woodpecker near the bird feeder at home… And this is a pileated woodpecker mama feeding her baby…
