I have been enjoying the annual bird count this weekend. The first day was Friday. We saw two Bald Eagles and four Hawks on the way to our walking trail. Yesterday I went out later in the day and only saw two Cardinals. So then I decided to count early this morning and saw a lot more birds. I saw Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Finches, Chicadees, Mourning Doves and more. I even saw about 15 Seagulls fly over too. I was happy to hear the Mourning Doves cooing for the first time this year, another wonderful first sign of Spring.
