Little Beauties

We went for a walk around our property to look for turtles.  I took pictures and I told Steve that this is the time of year people find fawns and they are usually fine if you find them by themselves.  I mentioned it because I saw a deer near the deck the other day and heard snorting sounds.  I just thought maybe it was a doe with a fawn or something.

And guess what we found?  We were looking around an area of the yard that we let grow wild and I spotted this precious little baby only a couple of feet from from where we were standing.  How cool is that?!  It is very common to find them this time of year and it’s best to let them be because normally the mama is close by.  If the fawn looked hurt or distressed in any way then that is when you should call a local wildlife rescue center.
