Weekend Exploring – June 2019

We started our weekend with brunch at The Tomato Pie Cafe.  We wanted to visit Hayloft Candles & Petting Zoo, but sadly it closed in February.  I went there almost every year for the last 30 years.  I started going there with my mom and grandmother and I’ll miss it so much.  So we went for a hike at Susquehannock State Park instead.

The overlook is breathtaking.

There are many beautiful sights in Lancaster, PA.

The next day, we went hiking at Beltzville State Park.  We always enjoy seeing the waterfall along our favorite trail there.

We had fun hiking in the rain.

We stopped by Carbon County to see our bird friends.  The eagle is female and she always gives the best greeting, you should hear her omg it’s amazing!

We saw some pretty flowers on our travels and picked up a new Lily for our garden.

It’s officially tomato season.  Time for tomato sandwiches!
