Reading Museum

Happy March!  We recently visited the Reading Museum and had lunch at Chef Alan’s.  I had a cobb salad.

It was a beautiful day and we walked around the arboretum first before going inside the museum.  I’m looking forward to coming back soon to see the flowers.

This is the type of tree I saw on a recent hike at Susquehannock State Park.  I didn’t know what it was before and it was nice to find out.

We were happy to see forsythia bushes already blooming.  Ours at home have buds on them right now.

We have both been to the Reading Museum before.  I really enjoyed the art by Jon Carsman.  He painted scenes from the area and I felt like I had seen all the places he painted.

They had a maze and brain games exhibit.  We had fun looking at everything.

Of course we had to stop for coffees and treats before heading home.  It was a lovely day with my husband.  So thankful for our time together.

  1. I bet those trees are beautiful with there are leaves everywhere and flowers will be out there as well. Still looks beautiful bare. The branches make fun little eater trees. Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing.

It’s a new place to explore and take fun pictures. We lived nearby for so long and I never thought to go there before. Thank you.🤗
